A Savy Internship

Internships can be a fun learning experience for both the company and student.

We welcome interns but prefer and appreciate those who have initiative. Check out the drawings of the very talented Savy Lalo, it summarises her internship with us:

Monday meetings are important to us, it sets the tone of the week. Savy did a good job at drawing Theresa while she discusses our to-do list!

Yes, there was a spider in our office no matter how much we try to keep it clean!
Savy did Shine Bakery and Cafe's Mother's Day posters.

Savy was a big help to us during Bvlgari's Omnia Indian Garnet launch in SM Aura's Premiere Lounge.

Hilarious how Savy ended up lying down on the floor to unlock our office door! Thanks for being a good sport Sav!

Our floor to ceiling windows are great for playing with shadows in the afternoons.

And yes, one of the challenges we face is how to motivate ourselves to be creative on a daily basis!

It's right across our building, you'll probably get there in 4 cart wheels but sometimes SM Megamall feels so far when we are in the zone and working on something! Thank you Sav for trying to look for stuff in the mall for our event!

It's actually Virtual Playground but Sav was able to produce quality logo designs.

There are a lot of hidden "culinary" treasures in St. Francis Square and this is apparently one of them.

Thank you for being a great intern, Sav! Good luck with school, hope to see you soon! Our doors are always open for you even for coffee!

Rooftop Rendezvous

The rendezvous point was Century City Mall’s Event Center last May 24, 2014. The event was Rooftop Rendezvous, a curated trunk show for fashion, home, art, music, and eats. It was an urban summer party that featured world-class Filipino craftsmanship and sustainable products. It’s the summer 2014 edition and the first installment in a series of RR Lifestyle Events.

Guests were buzzing about bespoke shoes made from Sapatero Manila and hand made woven leather shoes and bags from Carabao Workshop. Upcycling was fashionable as Rags2Riches showcased their latest collection while Sewn sold chic yet comfortable flats. From Rags2Riches to sustainable sunnies made from wood and old skateboard decks by Proof Eyewear, the trunk show was filled with interesting products. Seasons Collection by Madz and Bams featured gold, white gold, pearl and diamond accessories while Mineralista had handmade crystal jewelry.

A lot of the guests went home with something from De Boer Organiques, Fille et Fils and all natural beauty oils from CBeauty after trying and testing their products it was an easy sell.

It was an urban party in a tropical country so it was no surprise that bikinis and resort wear from Isola Swim Essentials, Brown Belly, Quiver, Sune, Tepina, Twinkle Ferraren and bottles of Real Tan natural browning oil were a hit at the trunk show.

There was art for everybody from fashion illustrations by Pete Rich aptly called “Peterait” to paintings by Gino Tioseco.

Coffee from Kape Ko provided the caffeine fix while fresh pressed juices from The Daily Jusa was an energy booster. Free flowing bubbly with mojito cupcakes from Shine Bakery and CafĂ© in SM Aura put everyone in a jolly mood. A lot of the guests are still probably raving about Coco Dolce Artisinal Chocolates made from local cacao and organic coco sugar, it’s too good to be true!

No one was empty handed as the guests went home with goodies from Belo Essentials Sun Expert and a rich experience from the rendezvous point.
